Northwest Maria Montessori Pre-School was founded in 1981 and is guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori.
With campuses in Essendon and Coburg in Melbourne's inner north, our Pre-School offers the best possible environment for children to grow and flourish.

The Pre-School is an incorporated body and it's administration is governed by a Constitution. It is run under the guidelines and regulations set out in the Children's Services Act 1996 and the Children's Services Regulations 1998.

As a parent-run organisation, the Pre-School relies on parent involvement and participation in running its operation. The Committee of Management consists of up to ten parents elected by financial members of the Pre-School at the Annual General Meeting.
